Stellantis has replaced the electric powertrain of its 1967 Plymouth GTX restomod, originally showcased at SEMA 2024, with a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcrate Redeye Hemi engine. The decision followed feedback from the car's original owner, who was dissatisfied with the previous electric conversion.

The new setup delivers 885 hp and 787 lb ft of torque, significantly exceeding the 335 hp output of the previous electric configuration. The engine is paired with a TorqueFlite 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission and features a distinctive hood scoop and 18-inch forged magnesium wheels.

Stellantis introduced this build alongside a new line of turnkey crate engine packages designed for builders. These bundles include the engine and a matching controller, with options ranging from a 385 hp 5.7-liter V8 to the 1,025 hp 6.2-liter Hellephant Super Stock unit.
