STCrypt, a subsidiary of SafeTech, and CryptoPro have developed a prototype for a mobile post-quantum electronic signature. The solution is built on the domestic cryptographic information protection tool CryptoPro CSP version 6.0, for which the FSB of Russia has recently approved the technical specifications.

The prototype incorporates the experimental Hypericum signature algorithm, which is currently a leading candidate for standardization by the Technical Committee for Cryptography TK26 in Russia. The system allows users to sign documents and operations directly from a mobile device.

To ensure security during the transition from classical to quantum computing, the developers implemented a hybrid TLS channel protection scheme. This approach combines established classical algorithms with new post-quantum methods to maintain security even if one of the algorithms is compromised.

The companies emphasize that while quantum threats remain theoretical, developing practical tools today is necessary to mitigate future risks. This project represents one of the first significant steps toward the practical application of post-quantum cryptography within the Russian digital infrastructure.
