StackGen Inc. has launched the Autonomous Operations Factory, a platform designed to manage specialized AI agents. The system is built on Aiden OS, which provides a shared environment record, policy enforcement, and activity logging to coordinate tasks like provisioning, deployment, and incident response.

The platform includes four native agents covering infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability engineering, and observability. Users can also integrate custom agents, which then inherit the platform's governance and audit capabilities. Additionally, the release introduces the Autonomy Index for benchmarking autonomous stages.

According to the company's State of Reliability 2026 report, AI-related outages have increased six-fold over the past three years, accounting for approximately 10% of disclosed incidents. StackGen has documented at least nine instances where AI agents performed destructive actions on production systems.

The Autonomous Operations Factory is currently available in preview for users of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. A free community edition of the reliability agent is also available. Current customers include OneTrust, Autodesk, Nielsen, and Bancolombia.

The San Francisco-based company, formerly known as appCD, rebranded in 2024 following a $12.3 million seed round. Its investors include Thomvest Ventures, Seligman Ventures, and WestWave Capital.
