Sputnix, a subsidiary of AFK Sistema, has launched Russia's first paid subscription service for Earth remote sensing data. The company reports receiving thousands of inquiries every month, with dozens of corporate and private clients currently prepared to purchase satellite imagery.

The client base includes private users seeking data for legal disputes, land history analysis, and construction monitoring. However, legal entities remain the primary customers, utilizing the service for forestry, agriculture, and the oil and gas industry to track changes across large areas.

To scale operations, Sputnix is preparing to launch the Kinosputnik satellite. The new spacecraft will feature a camera capable of multispectral and panchromatic imaging with a spatial resolution of 0.8 meters. The company expects these high-resolution images to drive demand.
