Elon Musk announced that SpaceX plans to develop an artificial intelligence model comparable to GPT-6 or Claude Fable within the next two to three months. The company has been actively working on its AI division for approximately three years, while competitors OpenAI and Anthropic have been developing similar technologies for ten and six years respectively.

Musk stated that if the current development pace is maintained, SpaceX could potentially lead the AI market in six months. He emphasized that increasing model intelligence is only beneficial up to a specific threshold, noting that excessive performance for simple tasks is redundant. He compared this to a toaster, which does not require the intelligence of Isaac Newton.

The company is also addressing challenges related to AI hardware infrastructure. Musk acknowledged that deploying massive computing power quickly is a complex task, but he believes SpaceX has already demonstrated significant efficiency in managing these technical requirements during its operations.
