The Federal Aviation Administration updated the schedule for the next Starship mission, Flight 14. The launch is now tentatively set for no earlier than September 18, 2026, shifting from the previously anticipated date of September 15.

This upcoming mission is expected to serve as a full orbital test. SpaceX plans to deploy Starlink V3 satellites into low Earth orbit, marking the first time the system will be tasked with delivering a functional payload rather than just demonstrating flight capabilities.

Preparations continue at Starbase, where teams are installing a large protective structure over the Pad 1 launch site. Simultaneously, hardware for the subsequent mission, specifically Super Heavy Booster 22 and Ship 42, is undergoing testing for the 15th flight.
