Following the acquisition of xAI in February 2026, SpaceX is focusing on AI infrastructure. Goldman Sachs projects the company's AI division will generate $322 billion in revenue by 2030, accounting for 68% of the total projected revenue of $474 billion. The AI segment reported $3.2 billion in revenue for 2025.
SpaceX plans to deploy a constellation of up to 1 million AI-optimized satellites by 2030, aiming for 100 gigawatts of solar-powered computing capacity. The company has established a Gigasat manufacturing facility, with initial launches scheduled for 2028. Contracts with Anthropic and Google currently provide over $26 billion in annualized revenue.
By 2030, Starlink is expected to generate $144 billion, while the core rocket business is projected to contribute $8.3 billion. SpaceX went public on the Nasdaq in mid-June 2026 with a valuation between $1.75 trillion and $2 trillion. At the time of the xAI merger in February 2026, the company was valued at approximately $1.25 trillion.
Market analysts remain divided on these projections. Morningstar estimates the company's valuation at $780 billion, citing intense competition from firms like OpenAI, Microsoft, and Amazon. Risks to the growth forecast include potential satellite manufacturing delays, launch failures, and high customer concentration.
