The launch of the Soyuz-2.1b rocket with the Progress MS-35 cargo ship was scheduled for September 9 at 21:15 Astana time. The rocket had been transported to the launch complex on September 6 and placed in a vertical position.

The state commission decided to postpone the Soyuz-2.1b launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome due to technical issues. The rocket will be returned to the assembly and testing building of site 31 for additional work.

The Progress MS-35 ship is a supply mission to the International Space Station. It carries more than 2.5 tons of cargo for the ISS crew. It is intended to replace the Progress MS-33 ship, which burned up in the atmosphere yesterday.
