Snapchat has introduced a new suite of tools called Snapchat Plans, designed to help users organize and manage real-world events directly within the application. The feature allows users to create event pages, invite friends, and track attendance details such as time and location in a centralized interface.

To initiate a plan, a user can invite up to 200 friends, with invitations sent through individual chats. Guests have the option to respond with status updates, including Going, Maybe, or Can’t Go. The system also provides automated reminders to participants one hour before the scheduled start time.

The platform now includes a dedicated My Plans section on user profiles to track past and upcoming events. Additionally, users can view shared events when visiting a friend's profile. These updates aim to streamline event coordination and compete with platforms like Partiful and Apple Invites.

Snapchat is shifting its focus toward facilitating in-person social interactions, reflecting a broader trend among younger users seeking offline connections. The company stated that these tools are intended to prevent missed gatherings caused by lost messages or forgotten details.
