Apple is reportedly planning a product launch event in Los Angeles on October 28. According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, the company has begun sending invitations to select media outlets for this gathering.

The format of the event will differ from traditional Apple keynotes. It will not be live-streamed, focusing instead on content creators and hands-on product demonstrations, similar to a recent event held in New York.

The lineup is expected to include 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring OLED displays, touch-screen support, and M5 Pro or M5 Max chips. These laptops may also include C1X or C2 modems for cellular connectivity.

The company also plans to introduce the iPad mini 8, which is expected to feature an OLED display, an A20 Pro chip, and a redesigned speaker system. The device will also include a landscape front camera and water resistance.

Additionally, Apple is set to release a Mac Studio model equipped with 512GB of memory in late October. Gurman suggests that this Los Angeles event will likely be the final major product launch for Apple in 2026.
