Skysys Intelligent Technology has deployed its inspection and maintenance systems at over 1,400 renewable-energy sites globally, covering a total installed capacity exceeding 40 GW. The company focuses on integrating drones and robots to automate tasks previously performed manually, such as identifying hot spots, physical damage, and dust buildup on solar panels.
In June 2025, Skysys secured over ¥100 million in a Series B+ funding round, following a similar Series B round a year prior. The capital is allocated for productizing renewable-energy robots and scaling urban low-altitude operations. The company's product line has evolved from drone docking systems to comprehensive platforms capable of detecting defects in solar, wind, and power-grid infrastructure.
The company is expanding its international presence in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. In Japan, it partnered with Huawei for mountain solar farm inspections, while in Indonesia, it uses drones to inspect floating solar installations. Its solar-cleaning robots are priced at over €10,000 for export, with an estimated payback period of approximately eight months for Australian clients.
Skysys aims to overcome limited overseas brand recognition by partnering with established industry players. On September 17, 2026, the company was recognized as one of the AI Going Global Future Unicorn Top 100 at the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo. The firm continues to prioritize economic efficiency for customers by reducing manual labor costs and improving power generation output.
