Sberbank has completed the migration of its retail credit product systems from foreign software to the domestic Platform V Pangolin DB, developed by SberTech. The transition covers all core processes, including contract creation, loan issuance, debt management, and reporting.
During the migration, technical teams transferred over 100 TB of data. The new architecture utilizes independent segments, known as shards, to isolate potential system failures and ensure operational stability.
According to the bank, the implementation of the new platform has improved performance metrics. The issuance of consumer loans is now three times faster, while the time required for centralized repayment processes has decreased by 20%.
Kirill Menshov, Senior Vice President at Sberbank, stated that the migration was a key step in the company's import substitution strategy. Throughout the transition, all banking services remained fully accessible to customers.
