Sber has released a unified version of its GigaIDE development environment, which is now accessible to individual developers, students, and small teams. Previously, the software was restricted to corporate clients, with separate distributions for different user tiers.
The new distribution merges the Community and Pro modes into a single installation. Users can start with the free version and upgrade to the subscription-based Pro tier or activate a trial period without needing to reinstall the software.
The Community version supports Java, Python, JavaScript, and database management. The Pro version includes corporate security integration, local and cloud code storage, verified plugins, and advanced database management tools.
The unified distribution is currently available on the GitVerse platform. While individual users can already access tools for Java, Django, web interface development, and databases, the full suite of Pro features is scheduled for release by the end of 2026.
