Aeroflot has equipped all 22 service counters at its flagship sales office with Neo payment terminals developed by Sber. These devices feature integrated artificial intelligence to process payments for airline tickets and additional services.
The terminals utilize facial recognition technology, local computing, and digital services. Key hardware features include an eight-core processor, a dedicated NPU chip for AI tasks, and a ToF camera that generates a 3D facial map. The screen resolution is 60% higher than in previous models.
The system supports multiple payment methods, including bank cards, biometric smile-based authentication, the Vzhukh contactless service via SberPay NFC, and QR codes. The screen automatically adjusts its tilt angle based on the passenger's position.
The Neo terminals were first unveiled at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2026. Following the event, Sber and Aeroflot entered into a partnership to integrate these devices as part of the airline's customer service digitalization strategy.
