Sber has released a unified distribution of its GigaIDE development environment, making it accessible to individual developers and small teams. Previously, the tool was split into separate versions for community and corporate use, which limited access to advanced features.

The new distribution allows users to switch between Community and Pro modes instantly without reinstalling the software. Users can activate a trial or subscription to access Pro features, such as corporate security integration, cloud code storage, and an advanced plugin marketplace.

The software is hosted on the GitVerse AI platform. While the unified version is available now, full access to Pro functionality for individual users will be rolled out gradually by the end of 2026.

Individual users currently have access to tools for Java, the Django framework for Python, web interface development tools, and database query editors. According to Sber, this initiative aims to provide students and small teams with professional-grade development practices.
