Samsung has officially acknowledged a software bug affecting Galaxy smartphones running the stable One UI 9 update. The issue arises when users utilize the QuickStar module within the Good Lock personalization suite to customize their status bar settings.
Users report that status bar icons behave inconsistently after the update. For instance, enabling the Do Not Disturb mode can cause the Wi-Fi icon to reappear unexpectedly, while disabling the network indicator might lead to the Wi-Fi icon vanishing entirely.
The Samsung Good Lock support team confirmed that developers are currently investigating the root cause of these icon display errors. The company stated that a fix requires modifications to the underlying platform software and further internal review.
At this stage, Samsung has not provided a specific timeline for when the patch will be released to address these interface glitches. Users experiencing these issues must wait for the official software update to resolve the configuration conflicts.
