Samsung has expanded the compatibility of its Quick Share feature to include the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A57 models. Following the One UI 9 update, these smartphones can now transfer files directly to Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers, without requiring third-party software.

To initiate a transfer, users must enable the Apple device sharing option within the Quick Share settings on their Samsung handset. Simultaneously, the receiving Apple device must have its AirDrop discovery settings activated. Once the connection is confirmed, users can exchange photos and documents.

The integration of Quick Share with the AirDrop protocol began in March 2026. Initially, the feature was exclusive to flagship devices, such as the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It was later rolled out to the Galaxy S25, S24, and various Z Flip and Z Fold models before reaching the A-series.
