Samsung has officially scheduled the launch event for its new W27 series foldable smartphones for October 29 at 16:00. The promotional materials feature silhouettes of two distinct foldable devices, confirming the upcoming release.

According to reports from authorized Samsung experience stores, the new devices are expected to be available for pickup starting November 5. Priority pre-orders for these high-end flagship foldable phones are currently open.

The W27 series is anticipated to be based on the Galaxy Z Fold8 architecture. For context, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, released in July, features a 6.5-inch external display and an 8-inch internal folding screen with a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

The hardware platform of the base model includes the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Configurations range from 12GB to 16GB of RAM and storage options up to 1TB. The device is powered by a 5000mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 45W wired and 20W wireless charging.
