OnePlus has officially scheduled the launch of the Ace 7 smartphone series in China for October 29. The lineup includes two models, the Ace 7 and the Ace 7 Pro, with pre-orders already open on the company's Chinese online store.
The series features an active cooling system with a built-in fan and a 14-layer radiator. The design utilizes two independent airflow paths to cool the SoC and the rear panel simultaneously. The heat exchange area is 1264 mm², which is 5.6 times larger than the SoC area, providing a 20% increase in heat dissipation efficiency.
The Pro model is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the standard model will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V. Both devices are rumored to include 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED displays with a 185 Hz refresh rate, up to 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage.
The smartphones are reported to house 9000 mAh batteries with support for 100 W or 120 W fast charging. The camera setup includes a 200 MP main sensor and a 16 MP front camera, with the Pro version adding a 50 MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The devices will run on ColorOS 17 based on Android 17.
