The Samara Metallurgical Plant has automated its financial and IFRS reporting processes using the 1C:Holding Management software. The project, implemented by 1C-Rarus, established a unified digital environment for the manufacturer of aluminum semi-finished products, which employs over 3,000 people.

The implementation follows the 2023 transition of the plant to the 1C:Corporation integrated suite. The new system automates the preparation of P&L statements, minimizing manual data entry and ensuring consistency between management and accounting records.

The IFRS reporting cycle has been reduced to one working day, down from the previous two to three days. Additionally, the speed of generating budget forms has increased threefold, with automated data loading from regulated accounting systems replacing manual consolidation procedures.

The system provides a centralized database for all budget forms and reports, featuring version control, audit trails for changes, and protection against data duplication. This infrastructure allows multiple users to work with financial data simultaneously.

According to the plant's management, the transition has improved data accuracy for production planning and reduced the routine workload for the financial team, allowing for a greater focus on data analysis.
