Salesforce is focusing on the 'agentic enterprise' concept, integrating AI agents into existing business workflows, data structures, and governance controls. The company aims to reduce tool fragmentation and simplify implementation through its Agentforce platform and Data 360 tools.
The platform now includes Data 360 Headless, which provides API access and Model Context Protocol tools to allow agents to function across various environments. Additionally, Agentforce Operations enables the automation of back-office tasks while maintaining audit trails and human oversight.
Salesforce introduced a resolution-based pricing model for its Help Agent, shifting costs from consumption metrics to completed customer-service outcomes. This approach is designed to allow companies to integrate AI capabilities without requiring full system migrations.
According to theCUBE Research, developer tool fragmentation has decreased from 74% in 2024 to 61% in 2026. This trend highlights a growing industry preference for integrated environments that connect data, automation, and business processes.
SiliconANGLE’s theCUBE will provide live coverage of the Dreamforce event on Sept. 25. The broadcast will feature interviews with Salesforce executives and partners to discuss the adoption of agentic systems, data governance, and human-agent collaboration.
