SAIC Volkswagen has officially opened pre-orders for the ID.ERA 8X SUV, with the market launch scheduled for October 12. Customers who place a deposit of ¥888 will receive a credit of ¥5,888 toward the final purchase price.
The company is offering additional incentives for early buyers, including priority production and delivery slots. Furthermore, the first 10,000 customers will receive a limited-edition delivery gift package.
The vehicle measures 5,020 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,750 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm. It features a short-overhang design, a wing-style spoiler, and a blackened exterior trim.
The SUV is equipped with an EA211 range extender and an intelligent chassis system. The interior includes a Smart Surface display, dual ultra-high-definition screens for the driver and passenger, and a W-HUD head-up display system.
Interior amenities include Nappa leather upholstery, zero-gravity front seats with ten-point massage functions, and heating and ventilation for both rows. The vehicle also features a 12-liter dual-door smart refrigerator.
