Volkswagen has unveiled the new T-Roc L, which features significant dimensional changes compared to its predecessor. According to documents filed with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the vehicle's wheelbase has been extended by 50 mm, reaching 2730 mm. This increase surpasses the wheelbase of the current third-generation European Tiguan.

The new model measures 4641 or 4648 mm in length, 1846 mm in width, and 1619 or 1627 mm in height. For comparison, the outgoing T-Roc measures 4319–4336 mm long, 1819 mm wide, and 1592 mm high. The front track is now 1571 mm, while the rear track is 1544 mm. The vehicle features an approach angle of 18 degrees and a departure angle of 16 degrees.

The exterior design has been updated with a new front light bar, a central Volkswagen logo, and a black horizontal grille. The R-Line trim offers a more aggressive aesthetic, including a black front bumper, darkened wheels, mirror caps, and a two-tone body finish. The standard version retains a more restrained look with silver bumper protection and multi-spoke silver wheels.

The powertrain lineup remains consistent with previous offerings. The 280 TSI version is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine producing 150 hp, while the 300 TSI variant features a 1.5-liter engine delivering 160 hp. Both configurations are capable of reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h.
