UK-based fintech startup Ryft has raised €23 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by Gresham House Ventures, with continued support from existing investors Pembroke VCT and Ingenii Capital. This follows a previous funding round of €6.6 million in April 2025.

Founded in 2021 by Alex Mackenzie, Richard Kirby, and Sadra Hosseini, Ryft provides payment solutions for marketplaces and multi-location businesses. The company offers tools for seller onboarding, recurring billing, and automated split payments. Its platform is currently used by over 6,500 businesses.

The company plans to use the new capital to scale its operations across Europe and the United States. As part of its European expansion strategy, Ryft has submitted an application for a full license to the Malta Financial Services Authority, which would allow the firm to passport its services throughout the European Economic Area.

Ryft has reported a tripling of its processing volume over the past 12 months. The startup maintains partnerships with major industry players, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Global Payments, and Nuvei. The company aims to accelerate product development and target larger enterprise clients.
