Since the beginning of 2026, Russian Post has delivered approximately 126 million electronic registered letters. The service is currently utilized by about 17 million individuals and organizations, including government agencies and judicial bodies.

The volume of digital correspondence remains significant following the 2025 performance, when the company processed over 140 million electronic registered letters. The system allows for the exchange of legally binding documents via the Gosuslugi portal.

The digital transition has environmental implications, as one in three letters is now sent electronically. Since the start of 2026, this shift has saved approximately 3 tons of paper and prevented the felling of 43,000 trees.

Users can send documents via smartphone or computer in two minutes without visiting a post office. If a recipient is not registered in the digital system, Russian Post prints the document and delivers it as a physical letter.
