In August, demand for heating system maintenance on Avito Services rose by 37% compared to July. Users sought pipe and radiator flushing services more frequently as they prepared their homes for the colder season.
Data indicates a 15% increase in demand for pipe hydrotesting, while requests for heating system installation and radiator repairs grew by 14%. General home renovation and finishing services saw a 5% increase in interest over the same period.
Work related to window and balcony insulation also saw growth. Demand for window sealing rose by 22%, balcony glazing by 11%, and window installation by 10%. Additionally, requests for electric heater repairs increased by 8%, and balcony waterproofing grew by 6%.
Compared to the previous year, demand for repair services increased by 24%, while household service requests rose by 25%. Experts attribute this to a shift away from DIY projects toward delegating domestic tasks to professional specialists.
Cleaning services also experienced a surge in August, with an overall increase of 9%. Requests for general cleaning rose by 13%, while demand for upholstery and carpet dry cleaning grew by 17% and 14% respectively.
