RUM Group has signed a six-year GPU services agreement with Anthropic valued at up to $13.7 billion. The deal centers on the Maysville, Georgia data center, which is currently under construction and expected to begin operations in early 2027.

The contract is structured in three tranches, with the final phase subject to customer approval. Following the disclosure of Anthropic as the client, RUM shares rose by 20–28% in premarket trading. The company reported revenue of $40.4 million for Q2 2026.

Anthropic received a 10-year warrant to purchase approximately 50.81 million Class A RUM shares at an exercise price of $0.01 per share. The vesting of these warrants depends on GPU purchase volumes and additional capacity commitments.

The Maysville facility has a power capacity of 120 MW, with plans to expand to 180 MW. RUM entered the GPU services market following its June 2026 acquisition of Northern Data, which added roughly 22,000 Nvidia Hopper GPUs to its portfolio.

RUM rebranded its compute operations as Quake AI. The company faces the challenge of securing significant capital through debt or equity to fund the infrastructure and GPU procurement necessary to meet the contract requirements.
