Rostelecom has announced that its digital platform, Rostelecom Klyuch, now serves over 1 million households across 440 Russian settlements. The service, which provides smart home and territory management tools, is used daily by more than 2.5 million people. The Volga, Central, and Siberia macro-regions lead in adoption, with 237,000, 225,000, and 197,000 connected households respectively.
The infrastructure currently includes 38,000 surveillance cameras and 19,000 smart intercom panels installed in residential complexes nationwide. The platform is available in diverse locations, ranging from major cities to remote areas like Strezhevoy in the Tomsk region and Aksarka in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The company has expanded its service portfolio with several new features. In late 2025, it introduced a parking space search tool. By June 2026, it launched electric vehicle charging stations and a secure courier access system. Additionally, residents in the Primorye region are currently testing smartphone stickers that function as digital keys.
Rostelecom Klyuch is a fully domestic solution included in the Ministry of Digital Development's registry of Russian software. According to Elena Nechay, Director of the product office, the company plans to continue expanding its geographic presence and introducing new smart solutions to enhance residential comfort and security.
