Rostelecom has completed the construction of a fiber-optic network in the village of Ryabinino, Perm Krai. The project utilizes GPON technology to provide high-speed internet access to 306 private households across ten streets, including Lenina, Lesnaya, and Logovaya.

The infrastructure deployment involved laying over 5 km of cable. According to the company, the network currently covers 85% of the village's households. The service enables residents to utilize digital tools such as remote work, online education, and telemedicine.

Since the beginning of 2026, Rostelecom has connected approximately 5,500 private households across 59 settlements in the Perm region. The company plans to expand its coverage to an additional 3,000 families by the end of the year.

The initiative is part of a broader regional effort to improve connectivity. According to the Ministry of Information Development and Communications of Perm Krai, 99% of the region's population currently has access to modern communication services under the Data Economy national project.
