The Rosel holding, a subsidiary of Rostec, has launched mass production of high-precision aluminum components. The new facility focuses on parts for radio electronics, instrumentation, and mechanical engineering.
The production site was funded by the holding's own resources and has an annual capacity of up to 900,000 units. The company expects these new manufacturing processes to reduce production costs by 15%.
The facility utilizes thin-walled casting technology, enabling the creation of parts with wall thicknesses starting at 0.8 mm and dimensional accuracy within 0.1–0.3 mm. This approach minimizes the need for mechanical finishing.
The plant operates a full production cycle, ranging from melt preparation to final quality control. The product range includes radio equipment housings, heat sinks, and power module bases for various industrial sectors.
