AvtoVAZ has completed electromagnetic compatibility testing for the Lada Azimut crossover. The vehicle underwent evaluation in an anechoic chamber to assess the resilience of its onboard electronics against electromagnetic fields and static discharges, while also measuring the car's own emissions.

The testing process utilized a robotic system capable of operating the steering wheel, pedals, transmission, and infotainment interface. According to the manufacturer, the electronic systems demonstrated the required stability under the applied conditions.

The Lada Azimut entered mass production one month ago. The initial lineup will feature 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engines paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The model is exclusively front-wheel drive.

The company plans to produce several thousand units by the end of 2026. While official pricing remains undisclosed, the manufacturer stated the model will be positioned at the lower end of its market segment.
