Cloud.ru is implementing a strategy to pre-reserve computing power for major corporate clients. CEO Mikhail Lobotsky stated that this initiative follows the increased demand triggered by October drone attacks on Russian data centers, which impacted the entire cloud industry.

The company is now coordinating resource volumes, configurations, and delivery timelines with customers in advance. For large-scale projects, resources may be allocated in stages, while a reserve is maintained for smaller tasks. Cloud.ru continues to onboard new clients despite these adjustments.

The provider is also exploring geographic redundancy options, including the use of data centers in friendly nations. These solutions are currently offered on an individual basis, taking into account data types, system architecture, security requirements, and legal regulations.

While the company reports no critical shortage of standard servers, the global supply of high-performance GPUs remains insufficient to meet demand. The recent attacks have driven up the need for backup infrastructure and rapid workload migration, while also increasing component costs and delivery lead times.
