YouTuber Rob Dahm unveiled a custom Mazda Miata at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The project features a unique configuration with a total of 13 rotors and four turbochargers. The setup includes a 12-rotor engine, which is purely for display, and a separate single-rotor engine that provides actual propulsion.
The 12-rotor engine, which sits in the front, has a claimed output of 4,500 horsepower. It is not connected to the drivetrain, though it retains functional wiring and fuel lines to appear operational. The single-rotor engine is equipped with a Garrett GBC22 turbocharger to move the vehicle.
Fitting the engines into the compact Miata chassis required custom mounts to manage weight distribution and stability. The team added three turbochargers to the setup, each weighing approximately 70 pounds. To meet the project deadline, the builders reused wiring harnesses and components from previous projects.
The vehicle was showcased at the Haltech booth during the 2026 SEMA Show, which took place from November 3 to 6. Despite the complex engine arrangement, the team confirmed that the car is capable of moving under its own power.
