Elevation Off Grid showcased a custom display at the SEMA exhibition featuring a Lamborghini Huracan STO positioned atop a Ford Super Duty truck. The entire structure, which includes three trucks and the supercar, is elevated 11 feet above the floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company estimates the total value of the display at nearly $1 million.
The setup process involved driving the car-hauling Ford Super Duty onto ramps placed over two other trucks. Elevation Off Grid claims that the beds of its modified trucks are engineered to support a weight of 10,000 pounds, or 4,536 kilograms. To maintain stability and prevent the vehicles from squatting under the load, the company utilizes LiquidSpring Smart Suspension components.
The display serves as a demonstration of the functional capabilities of the heavy-duty trucks modified by Elevation Off Grid. Unlike many static exhibits at SEMA that lack complete powertrains, this setup highlights the structural integrity and suspension performance of the company's custom builds by supporting the combined weight of the vehicles in a real-world configuration.
