British automaker Ariel is bringing its full vehicle lineup to the United States, with Forman Motorworks in Scottsdale, Arizona, serving as the exclusive distributor. The company will offer the Atom 4, Atom 4R, Atom 4RR, and the off-road Nomad 2 to American customers, maintaining the same configuration flexibility available in the UK.
The Atom 4 features a 350-hp turbocharged Honda engine and weighs under 1,350 lbs. The Atom 4R produces 400 hp at a weight of 1,543 lbs, while the track-focused Atom 4RR delivers 525 hp with a weight of 1,475 lbs. The off-road Nomad 2 provides 305 bhp, rear-wheel drive, and a weight of less than 750 kg.
Forman Motorworks has a history with the brand dating back to January 2009, having sold over 200 Ariel vehicles previously. The distributor will manage parts, maintenance, and servicing through designated support locations across the country.
Production of the first demonstrator vehicles, the Atom 4 and Atom 4R, is underway in the UK. These units are expected to arrive in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2027, with the first customer deliveries scheduled for the summer of 2027.
While official pricing has not been announced by the manufacturer, listings on the Exoform Imports website indicate prices of $117,000 for the Atom 4, $124,400 for the Nomad 2, and $166,500 for the Atom 4R.
