Roadchef has entered into a strategic agreement with BP to expand electric vehicle charging, fuel, and convenience services across the UK motorway network. Starting in 2027, BP Pulse ultra-fast charging stations will be installed at over 30 Roadchef service areas.

The partnership includes Roadchef taking over the operation of 12 BP forecourts, which will continue to offer BP-branded fuels and wildbean cafe services. This collaboration supports Roadchef's broader commitment to install 1 000 charging bays by 2030.

This initiative builds upon Roadchef's previous infrastructure investments. In October 2024, the company announced plans for 650 new fast-charging stations as part of a £20 billion infrastructure package led by Macquarie. Previously, Roadchef also partnered with Gridserve to build six 'Electric Super Hubs' with over 50 chargers.
