Renault has officially opened order books for the refreshed Scenic E-Tech and Megane E-Tech electric vehicles in the UK. The starting price for the Megane E-Tech is £28 245, while the Scenic E-Tech begins at £33 245. Both figures already incorporate the UK Electric Car Grant of £3 750.
The updated Scenic E-Tech 220 Long Range features an 89 kWh battery, providing a WLTP range of up to 642 km. While the maximum DC charging power remains at 150 kW, charging time from 15 to 80 percent has been reduced to 28 minutes. The company also plans to introduce a version with a 67 kWh LFP battery in the future.
The Megane E-Tech now comes with a 67 kWh LFP battery, replacing the previous 60 kWh unit. This upgrade extends the WLTP range to 493 km and increases the maximum DC charging power to 165 kW, allowing a 15 to 80 percent charge in 24 minutes. UK customers can choose between Techno and Esprit Alpine trim levels.
Both models have received exterior and interior design updates, along with revised driver assistance systems. The vehicles are equipped with the latest openR link infotainment platform, which includes integrated Google services. These updates follow the recent launch of the revised models in France and Germany.
