Regal Voice Inc. has introduced Goal Oriented Agents, a new feature for its voice AI platform. The system utilizes two distinct AI models—an actor and a director—to manage customer calls. The actor model handles immediate dialogue, while the director model monitors progress against predefined goals and updates instructions for the actor after every turn.
Businesses can configure these agents using goal nodes, which define specific objectives and prerequisites for a call. The system allows for complex data collection, such as processing multiple pieces of information provided by a caller in a single statement. This approach is designed to streamline intake and qualification processes, including mortgage applications and medical intake.
Regal Voice currently serves more than 200 enterprise clients, including Google LLC, AAA, and Toyota Motor Corp. The company also maintains an integration with the Five9 contact center platform, which was established in August. These new agents are intended to replace traditional systems based on conditional logic that often require repetitive questioning.
Regal Voice is a venture-backed startup that has secured a total of $83 million in funding to date. This total includes a $40 million investment round completed in October 2024. The company focuses on providing voice AI solutions for enterprise-level business processes and compliance-heavy sectors.
