RedStone has launched an onchain FIL/USD price feed on the Filecoin mainnet, specifically targeting the Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM). The service went live on October 22, 2026, just three days after the network's Solstice upgrade, which adjusted block reward distribution.

The new oracle solution utilizes a push feed mechanism. It updates the FIL price whenever the asset value fluctuates by 0.5% or at a minimum interval of four hours. This provides developers building lending or derivatives protocols on the FVM with an additional data source.

RedStone currently operates its oracle infrastructure across more than 110 blockchain networks. In 2026, the total value secured by the provider is estimated to be between $4 billion and $9 billion.

The integration adds to existing oracle support on Filecoin, which already includes services from Pyth and Tellor. This expansion aligns with Filecoin's broader strategy to enhance its programmable capabilities beyond its primary role as a storage marketplace.
