Real Technologies Inc. has successfully registered its ASSET token whitepaper in the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) Interim MiCA Register. This status provides a standardized disclosure reference for the token across 30 European Economic Area markets, replacing the previous fragmented national filing requirements.
The registration follows the MiCA regulation Title II framework. While this inclusion provides a central record for financial institutions and exchanges, the company clarifies that it does not constitute formal regulatory approval. Individual trading platforms retain the authority to conduct their own independent listing assessments.
REAL Finance is currently developing an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed to tokenize real-world financial assets. The company has set a target to tokenize over €3.5 billion in assets, including securities, funds, and credit products, while collaborating with partners like Wiener Privatbank.
The project has previously secured $29 million in funding from investors such as Nimbus Capital, Magnus Capital, and Frekaz Group. The ASSET token is currently available on exchanges including Kraken, KuCoin, and MEXC, with the recent Kraken EU listing marking a key step in the company's European expansion strategy.
