Razer has released the Basilisk V4 Pro, an updated version of its ergonomic gaming mouse. The device features the Focus Pro 50K optical sensor, Gen-4 optical switches rated for 100 million clicks, and supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate. The mouse measures 127.5 mm in length and weighs 100 grams, which is lighter than the previous V3 Pro 35K model.

The V4 Pro includes 12 programmable buttons, adding two new controls compared to its predecessor. One of these is a dedicated AI prompt button located in the thumb area, while the other is positioned near the left primary button for profile switching. The mouse also features a tilt wheel with three modes and seven RGB lighting zones.

Connectivity options include 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB-C. Battery life is rated at 200 hours at a 1,000 Hz polling rate, dropping to 54 hours when using the 8,000 Hz mode. The device is compatible with the Mouse Dock V2 Pro and the HyperFlux V2 charging mouse pad.

The Razer Basilisk V4 Pro is priced at $169.99 and is available in black and white colorways. The Mouse Dock V2 Pro is sold separately for $69.99. The mouse requires the Razer Synapse 4 software for configuration, including button remapping, macro recording, and sensor calibration.
