Lexar has introduced the Professional SILVER GO microSDXC UHS-I memory card, designed for drones, action cameras, handheld consoles, and content creators. The card is available in four storage capacities: 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The card features a V30 video speed rating, supporting 4K 60fps recording. Maximum read speeds reach 250MB/s when used with the RW360 card reader. Write speeds vary by capacity: 180MB/s for the 256GB and 512GB models, and 135MB/s for the 64GB and 128GB versions.
Compatibility testing includes devices from DJI, Insta360, and GoPro, as well as the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. The manufacturer notes that the card is compatible with the original Nintendo Switch but not the Switch 2.
The hardware is rated IPX7 for water resistance, surviving 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. It withstands 1.5-meter drops and 1500G impacts, with resistance to shock, magnets, and X-rays. Operating temperatures range from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius.
The product includes the Lexar Recovery Tool and a limited lifetime warranty, which is capped at 10 years in regions like Germany. The cards are currently available on Amazon US with prices ranging from $34.99 to $144.99.
