London-based fintech startup Quartz has secured £2.75 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Daphni, with additional backing from Outward VC, K Fund, and several angel investors, including Philippe Gelis and Gilles BianRosa.

The company was established in 2025 by André Silva and Mateus Mesquita Alves. Quartz operates as a registered Account Information Service Provider with the Financial Conduct Authority, allowing users to aggregate pensions, ISAs, savings, and investments in one app.

The platform features an AI-driven assistant named Charlie, which analyzes personal financial data and market trends to offer tailored insights. Quartz has been in testing since the first quarter of 2026 and currently tracks over £10 million in user assets.

The startup employs a team of 10 people based in London, Barcelona, and Porto. Following the official UK launch, Quartz is currently onboarding users from its waitlist by invitation and plans to gradually increase access through the App Store and Google Play.
