Porsche is shifting its strategy toward high-end, exclusive vehicle production to increase average sales prices and overall profitability. The company is focusing on bespoke, one-off projects and specialized versions of the 911 model line.
According to Alexander Fabig, Vice President for Product and Individualization, Porsche currently has 15 one-off projects in development. Prices for these unique vehicles range from $1.8 million to $15 million.
The manufacturer is also expanding its factory restoration and recommissioning program. Porsche has already updated 11 Carrera GT units, with costs reaching up to $784 000 per vehicle. Currently, 16 additional cars are under restoration, with 21 more in the pipeline.
Future bespoke projects may see price premiums exceeding 200 percent over base models. For context, the 2027 Porsche 911 starts at $137 850, meaning future customized variants could reach approximately $413 000.
