Pluto Security, a startup focused on AI security, has raised $42 million in total funding. The company completed an $8.5 million seed round led by TLV Partners and a $34 million Series A round led by Jump Capital, with participation from Ansa Capital and Skinos.
The platform monitors AI tools, agents, and extensions within enterprise environments to identify risks and enforce security policies. It integrates with endpoint security systems to analyze prompts, permissions, and processes, allowing the software to intervene in real-time if an agent attempts unauthorized actions.
Since launching sales in April, the company has reached $2 million in annual recurring revenue. Its client base includes over 30 enterprise customers, such as Oscar Health, Workato, Sixt, and AlphaSense. The startup currently employs 40 people across the United States and Israel.
Pluto Security also operates a free platform called Plutonium, which allows users to scan for risks in AI skills and connectors. The company reports that thousands of security professionals use this tool, which serves as a significant source of inbound interest for its sales pipeline.
The new capital will be directed toward product development, expanding security research, and increasing the company's presence in the United States.
