Paua, a UK-based provider of EV charging payment platforms, has entered into a partnership with Norwegian charger manufacturer Zaptec. The collaboration aims to create a unified charging ecosystem for fleet operators that covers home, workplace, depot, and public charging locations.
The integration combines Zaptec’s hardware, including the Go 2 home charger and the scalable Zaptec Pro for commercial sites, with Paua’s payment and management software. This setup allows businesses to track charging activity, energy consumption, and charger performance in real time via cloud-based tools.
By utilizing energy meters built into Zaptec chargers, the system automatically calculates charging costs and facilitates driver reimbursement. Additionally, fleet drivers retain access to the UK public charging network through the existing Paua charge card and mobile application.
According to the companies, the partnership addresses administrative challenges such as fragmented systems and manual expense reporting. The goal is to simplify fleet electrification by providing a turnkey solution that manages every charging event regardless of the location.
