Amazon offers a range of Fire TV media streaming devices, with the Fire TV Stick lineup priced between $35 and $60. The entry-level Fire TV Stick HD supports 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second, features 1GB of RAM, and supports WiFi 5. In comparison, the Fire TV Stick 4K includes 2GB of RAM and WiFi 6 support.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max serves as a higher-performance option, equipped with a faster CPU and GPU, along with WiFi 6E support. These hardware upgrades are designed to facilitate quicker application launch times and more reliable streaming performance.
The Amazon Fire TV Cube, currently in its 3rd generation, is the most powerful media streamer in the lineup, priced at $140. It features a faster processor, increased storage, and integrated ports including Ethernet, USB, and HDMI. It also includes a built-in microphone and speaker for hands-free Alexa voice assistant access.
While all current Amazon Fire TV devices are supplied with an Alexa Voice remote for navigation and search, the Fire TV Cube is the only model that enables hands-free voice control without requiring a button press on the remote.
