The Orienspace Gravity-1 Y3 commercial launch vehicle is scheduled for a sea-based launch on September 16. The rocket was assembled at the Haiyang Oriental Spaceport and will be transported to the East China Sea via the Oriental Spaceport launch vessel.

Gravity-1 is recognized as the world's first all-solid-propellant strapped-on medium-lift launch vehicle. The company successfully completed the maiden flight of this rocket model in January 2024.

Additionally, a separate mission involving the Gravity-1 Y4 rocket took place on July 22, 2026. The Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center successfully deployed nine satellites into orbit from the waters east of Shanghai, including the Dongpo and Xiguang series.
