Oracle is shifting its enterprise security strategy toward the data layer to address risks introduced by artificial intelligence. The company's approach relies on three pillars: securing data at the source, ensuring speed, and maintaining resilience through robust controls.
In June, Oracle introduced a strategy to manage security challenges related to AI adoption. Key tools include Oracle Deep Data Security for end-user privacy rules and Oracle SQL Firewall, which mitigates risks from SQL injection attacks.
The company is also focusing on resilience through solutions like Zero Data Loss Recovery and the Globally Distributed AI Database. These tools are designed to protect data and ensure business continuity even during infrastructure failures or attacks.
Oracle will host a virtual event titled 'AI Cyberattacks Are Escalating: How to Secure Your Data Now' on September 22. The event will feature product leaders and analysts discussing threat landscapes and data protection strategies.
