Opply, a developer of an AI-driven operating platform for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, has secured $7.5 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Chalfen Ventures, with additional backing from Index Ventures, Anthemis, Entrepreneurs First, In This Together, and Ventures Together.
The startup, founded by Helen Murphy and Martin Postel, focuses on automating operational tasks such as sourcing, procurement, financing, and supply chain management. Unlike analytical tools, Opply’s platform uses AI agents to execute tasks directly, including inventory management, production coordination, and delivery oversight.
The company aims to address the challenges of fragmented and manual supply chains within the CPG sector. By integrating proprietary data with an extensive supplier network, the platform seeks to reduce operational costs and manual intervention for businesses ranging from emerging brands to large global players.
The newly raised capital will be used to scale the platform and expand its reach to a broader range of consumer goods companies. The leadership team intends to leverage these funds to support more businesses in optimizing their complex supply chain operations through automated AI agents.
